The sweater is worked from the top down. The upper back is shaped first, then worked to the underarms and placed on hold. Stitches for the shoulders are picked up along the cast on edge. The left shoulder is worked to the neckline then placed on hold while the right shoulder is worked. The front pieces are joined at the neckline and worked to the underarms. Underarm onwards, all stitches are worked circularly in one piece. When the body is completed, stitches for the sleeves are picked up along the armhole opening and worked in the round to the cuff. Stitches for the neckband are picked up around neckline and worked in the round then folded in half.

NEEDLES
• Large : US7(4.5mm) 40” / 100cm circular needles for the body and US7(4.5mm) DPNs or short circular needles for the sleeves. 32” or 40” / 80cm or 100cm circular needles can be used instead of DPNs if you familiar with the Magic loop for working sleeves in the round.
• Small : US6(4mm) DPNs or short circular needles for the cuff.

GAUGE
Using the large needles / 4x4” / 10 x 10cm.
• Stockinette stitch : 19 stitches and 27 rows.
• Keyboard pattern stitch : 19 stitches and 29 rows.

스웨터는 탑다운으로 뜬다. 먼저, 뒤판 어깨에서 시작하여 코를 늘리며 어깨 모양을 잡은 뒤 겨드랑이까지 평면뜨기 하고, 뒤판에의 코잡은 곳에서 코를 주워 왼쪽 어깨를 뜨고, 같은 방법으로 오른쪽 어깨를 뜨는 동안 잠시 쉬게 한다. 오른쪽과 왼쪽을 합친 뒤에는 겨드랑이까지 뜨고 세 부분을 모두 합쳐서 원통뜨기로 몸통을 뜬다. 소매는 암홀에서 코를 주워 원통뜨기 하고, 넥밴드 역시 목둘레를 따라 코를 주워 원통뜨기 한 뒤 반으로 접어서 마무리 한다.
