Crochet pattern for a piano lap blanket, with instructions to make the blanket wider or longer as desired. This piano keyboard is not reversible, but is much neater and tighter than many other keyboard patterns.

The blanket in the picture measures 35” wide by 56” long, and used around 4 oz (105 yds) white yarn and 24 oz (1,260 yds) black yarn using a H-8 (5.00 mm) hook. Caron Simply Soft yarn was used to make the blanket in the picture. Gauge is not important for this project.
