Piazza Cowl
Many people are familiar with the Sierpinski Triangle, but there is a square version of the pattern called the Sierpinski carpet, and it’s a colorwork dream! The Sierpinski carpet is a plane fractal created by subdividing a square into nine equal parts and removing the center square. You then do the same thing to each of the remaining eight squares and so forth throughout the project. This design uses tapestry center single crochet and is based on the bottom third of the level-5 Sierpinski carpet.
