Picea Scarf
Construction:
The scarf is knitted from tip to tip. It is knitted in a herringbone stitch, consisting of stitches being knitted together through the back loop and purled together. Increases are made whereby the width of the scarf increases. When all increases have been made, a section with no in- or decreases are made. Lastly, decreases are made, for the scarf to be symmetrical.
Gauge:
43 stitches x 21 rows on 10 x 10 cm in herringbone stitching.
Since the precise measurements of the scarf are not crucial, deviations from the gauge can be accepted. This makes this scarf perfect as a project for leftover yarn since many different types of yarn can be used. We achieve the gauge on 5 mm needles.
