Picking Peonies
I donate 25% of all sales to animal rescue each month!
The peony is one of my all-time favorite flowers, and it has a rich cultural history, used for medication in earlier times and used in fragrances and bouquets in Europe, where it is known as “the rose without thorns.” Their beauty, most of all, is visually astounding.
I’m hoping to finally start my own garden this year and rumor has it that these babies can thrive in the right climate. If it turns out that they don’t like living here, well…I can still pick up my shawl and head to the florist!
Pattern is written. Final Size: Approx. 16” at widest depth by 80” long tip-to-tip.
