When the economy started going downhill in Pickle’s hometown, jobs became harder and harder to come by, particularly for a little green monster. Pickle left town in search of a better fortune. Eventually he traveled to Alaska, where he joined the crew of a fishing boat. The work was dangerous and cold, and Pickle began to think he had made a mistake. But one day his luck changed, when the crew trapped another green monster onto the boat in their fishing nets. It was a lovely green lady monster, and Pickle was smitten. They soon married and settled in a cabin on the coast, raising a large family of
little pickles.
