Picnic
Picnic evokes some of my favorite summertime memories: picking wild berries, finding a beehive dripping with golden honey, plucking dandelion puffs to watch their seeds float through the air, a chance sighting of deer prancing through the forest, delicate vines creeping across trees, a basket overflowing with treasures found during a day full of adventure and discovery.
This shawl is a large right triangle in shape, worked from one edge all the way down to a point. Each of the seven sections feature a different stitch pattern, and combined with pretty tassels and generous blocking, this is truly a cozy and elegant knit.
Yarn:
6 20G mini skeins and 1 50G skein were used to create the sample.
If you are planning to use mini skeins for this project, please choose ones that are at least 102 yards.
