Circumference approximate 12.5, 14, 16.5 (19, 20.5, 23) cm / 5, 5.5, 6.5 (7.5, 8, 9) inches

Sizing
To determine the most appropriate sock size to knit, measure the circumference of your foot at the widest part. It is always best to have 1-3cm negative ease when knitting socks to ensure a close fit. My foot circumference is 23cm, so I knit the size Adult M.

Yarn
4ply fingering weight sock yarn in 2 colours. Samples knit in Filcolana Arwetta Classic.

Yardage
MC approx. – 15, 25, 35 (40, 40, 50) grams / 63, 105, 147 (168, 168, 210) meters / 69, 115, 161 (184, 184, 230) yards.
CC1 approx. – 5, 7, 10 (15, 15, 20) grams/ 21, 29, 42 (63, 63, 84) meters / 23, 32, 46 (69, 69, 92) yards.

Please note:
Baby, Toddler and Child sizes were not part of the test knit so yarn allowances are estimated.
Yarn weights given allow for both versions of this design, with or without the “picot colour peep”.
If you require a longer sock than the given measurements, please allow for this in your yarn requirements.

Needles
2.25mm 23cm/9inch and 2.25mm 100cm/40inch circular needles (or needles to obtain gauge).

Gauge
34sts x 48 rounds = 10x10cm / 4x4 inches in stockinette stitch in the round, blocked.

Notions
2 contrasting ring stitch markers, scissors, tapestry needle.

Skills Used
Cast on, knit, purl, turned heel with slst, picking up stitches, ssk/k2tog decreasing, grafting toe closed with Kitchener stitch (full written instructions given).
