Pattern Description:
Knitwork lends vintage Victorian inspired texture and dimension to your wardrobe! The Picot Primrose Scarf is worked with the luxurious softness of Baah Aspen a premium blend of cashmere, silk and merino. Depending on desired length and stretchiness of finished scarf, it’s worked horizontally either on size 5 or 6 needles. The scarf begins with a ruffled edge, next the main border sections are worked in a delicate primrose lace pattern and then is finished with a dainty picot edge bind off.

Here’s to a bit of indulgence for your everyday!
Perfect project for your next travel adventure – interesting enough, but easy to pick up and put down! Add a double wrap to the scarf for more warmth.

Materials:
• 1 hank Baah Aspen: 75% Superwash Merino Wool, 15% Silk and 10% Cashmere with 330 yards/100 grams.
o Colorway 1 = Tea Rose on left (finished scarf is a bit shorter w/a firmer feel)
o Colorway 2 = Sweet Pea on right (finished scarf is a bit longer w/a stretchier feel)
• Size 5 (shorter scarf) or 6 (longer scarf) – 32” circular needles or size to obtain gauge

• JUL Designs Modern Ornate Stud Button

Gauge After Blocking:
• Tea Rose (on left) is 17 sts to 4” = 4.25 sts to 1” on size 5 needles with Aspen in stockinette stitch.
• Sweet Pea (on right) is 16 sts to 4” = 4 sts to 1” on size 6 needles with Aspen in stockinette stitch.

Approximate Finished Measurements After Blocking:
• Width 7” x length 45” = Tea Rose
• Width 7” x length 50” = Sweet Pea
• For a shorter firmer scarf use size 5 needles, for a longer stretchier scarf use size 6 needles.
• Both scarves will stretch a bit in length when worn, but the Sweet Pea on size 6 needles even more.
