Want to get some picot practice in? This pattern is based on a unique stitch called Crazy Picot Mesh. It works up quickly and easily with a repeat of one row (87 times for a super scarf, 50 times or as you like for a normal scarf length).

I’ve included pictures of the more complicated steps in the pattern.

As a Caron Cakes addict, I’ve used Caron Big Cakes, but this could be worked up using any thinner worsted weight yarn (4) or sport/baby yarn (3). The thinner the yarn, the more pronounced the picot stitches.

I enjoy the self-striping Caron Cakes, which created blocks of color in this pattern, but you could easily use one color or a variegated yarn of your choice.
