Picot Sweater is a straightforward raglansweater with a delicate picot-detail along the double folded rib. Picot Sweater is knitted top down. The neckline is shaped with german short rows to make it higher in the back.

Construction
First you work the picot cast on. With these stitches the neckline is knitted in rib. The neckline is then folded and the cast on edge is knitted together with the rib stitches on the needle. The yoke is worked back and forth with German short rows and raglan increases. When the neckline is shaped, the rest of the yoke is worked in the round with raglan increases. The body and sleeves are then worked separately in stockinette stitch and finished with a rib edge. I have chosen a tubular bind off, but a regular bind off in rib works just as well.

Konstruktion
Halskanten begynder med picot-opslaget. Med maskerne derfra strikkes halskanten i rib. Halskanten foldes og opslagskanten strikkes sammen med maskerne på pinden. Derpå strikkes vendepinde og raglanudtagninger frem og tilbage. Dernæst strikkes rundt med raglanudtagninger til bærestykkets slutning. Herfra strikkes krop og ærmer færdig for sig, rundt i glatstrik og med ribkant nederst. Jeg har lukket af med italiensk aflukning, men en almindelig aflukning i rib som maskerne viser vil også fungere fint.
