I chose these particular motifs for this great-fitting shawl in order to achieve a textured appearance. This pattern has enough stitch variation to hold the interest of the more advanced knitter, yet the motifs are not too difficult for a knitter on an intermediate level. Quick and easy to make from the top down, this little shawl, knitted in sock weight yarn, is the perfect accessory to spice up the simplest outfit.
The gauge is 5 sts = 1” in sock, DK, or worsted weight yarn on a size 8 needle.
