Pie Crust Basketweave Wash Cloth & Face Scrubbie KNITTING PATTERN DIGITAL PDF designed by Maggie Freeman at Sunny and Stitch

Make a lovely wash cloth and matching face scrubbie for use in the bathroom or as a dishcloth in the kitchen.

This pattern is a PDF digital download.

A nice quick and easy pattern with clear written instructions.

One side has a traditional pie crust/basketweave texture and the other side has an interesting stepped texture - please see photos.

The textured pattern looks complicated but it is actually very easy being a combination of knit and purl stitches.

Knit a bunch of these…for around the home…coordinate with your decor…make them as gifts for family and friends.

The recommended yarn for this pattern is worsted weight/aran cotton (I used Drops Paris) although it can be made in any yarn.

The pattern includes instructions for the wash cloth and face scrubbie. If made in worsted weight cotton, the completed measurements will be approximately:

Wash cloth: Approximately 19cm/7.5” square.

Face scrubbie: Approximately 12cm/4.75” square.

You will require about 40g for the wash cloth and 20g for the face scrubbie.

Gauge is not critical.
