Celebrate the women in your life with Pieces of Her Heart - a mosaic crochet blanket pattern! This design holds a special place in my heart. It features a heart puzzle displaying many of the ways women show their love: Grandma, Mom, Wife, and Daughter…the pieces of her heart. The mosaic overlay crochet pattern was commissioned as a custom piece for my aunt’s 80th birthday. Later, the written pattern was tested by a friend who had recently lost her mother. The women in our lives should be celebrated! This blanket is sure to be cherished for many years to come!

This mosaic crochet pattern is an advanced skill level and is recommended for crocheters with experience in mosaic overlay crochet. The detailed instructions, photos, and video tutorials will guide you through each step of the project. With a little bit of patience and practice, you’ll be a pro in no time!

This calculation was based on Stylecraft Special DK yarn and hook size of 3.75mm. Gauge: 5 stitched and 5 rows=1 inch

Color B (Background) - 2877 yds
Double Border – 874 yds

This pattern is divided into 8 sections (the chart sections are 6 pages each) and is worked from the bottom up. I would suggest using the Knit Companion app (my personal preference as it is brilliant and saves on printer ink and paper), but I have also included layout instructions if you prefer to print out your pages. The written pattern sections correlate with the charts so they can be used together.
