Pieni HALI children's waistcoat
A classic, minimal garter stitch waistcoat - now also for the littleones!
This waistcoat is knit from the hem upwards to the shoulders in garter stitch. After working the body the stitches are divided into the back and two front pieces, then worked further in sections, and finally connected at the shoulders. This is a great beginner project as very few techniques such as increasing and decreasing are used to shape the simple piece.
HALI means ‘a hug’ in Finnish and PIENI ‘smal’ - so this is a little hug
