Piet Mondrian - Red, Yellow and Blue
From book: This is from one of Mondrian’s more complicated geometrical works created between 1939 and 1942. Again, he uses flat planes of color with grids of black and white.
A rather severe shape was chosen for this sweater which has straight padded shoulders with set-in sleeves. The painting is repeated on the back of the garment, giving it a sense of community.
