2022 will be the 150th birthday of Piet Mondriaan. To celebrate this special occasion, we’re having a year long KAL. The goal is to get (at least) 150 of these shawls knitted over the coming year.
If you wanna be part of the fun, then get your yarn and needles ready and join at this thread.

Inspired by the art of Piet Mondriaan, this shawl is just a beauty that belongs in every wardrobe. But if you’re not that fond of this type of art, there’s a whole bunch of possible variations that gives like a limitless amount of possibilities to get you the shawl you’ve been looking for for so long. Whether you fill in the squares with different grades of one same color or decide to just use up those stupidly small amounts of left-overs, the result is always amazing.

Piet shawl is a triangular shawl made of intarsia blocks, being knit sideways. You can knit this with any DK yarn, gauge is not overly important but note that the end result of your shawl might be a bit smaller or bigger depending on the chosen yarn.
