Pig in a Blanket
Pig’s in Blanket’s are a Christmas treat in the UK - mini sausages wrapped in bacon & served with a full Christmas dinner. Now I’m veggie, the only Pig’s in Blanket’s that I want are crochet ones!
The is a very detailed pattern, over 4 pages with lots of photo’s which can be easily converted to US terms - just use a size G hook and SC instead of DC throughout
The finished Piggy is 11cm tall to the tip of ‘his ears although you could go up a size in hook & yarn to worstead/aran & Piggy might be a bit fatter or supersize by going up 2 hook sizes and using chunky yarn (as pictured)
I’ve simply used DK acrylic throughout but cotton or other ‘wool mix could also be used as long as it is DK
As Piggy is only small, a very small amount of wool is used - great scrap buster
And of course Piggy does have a curly tail
Pocket sized cute & cuddly creatures, each with a different technique, this one is changing colours and carrying yarn on the ‘blanket’
Quick & easy to make in just 1 evening
Amigurumi style crochet
Beginner & advanced friendly
Lot’s of extra hint’s & tip’s included
Coming soon/Also available… Sloth in a Cloth, Pug in a Rug, Owl in a Towel, Bat in a Wrap, Chick & Egg and Cat on a Mat with a Hat
