This pattern is 16 pages long and includes the instructions for the pig and her piglet, as well as the pigsty, mud puddle, trough and food items. It contains loads of photos to help you every step of the way and it is written in American crochet terms.

You will need:

Yarn of your choice - yarn weight doesn’t really matter, the size of your pig will simply turn out bigger or smaller! I used Patons Smoothie DK Yarn (this is quite a thick DK yarn so it is equivalent to aran or light worsted weight in other brands) and my finished pig measures 11.5cm long.

For the pig and her piglet you will need the following colours:
Pale pink, a small amount of darker pink for the nose.

For the pigsty you will need the following colours:
Beige, grey & brown.

For the food, trough and mud puddle, you will need the following colours:
Brown, grey, red, green & yellow.

A suitable size hook for the yarn you have chosen ( I use a 4mm hook).

Toy stuffing.

A pair of black safety eyes (I used 6mm eyes).

Other tools you will need are a tapestry needle, some scissors, pins and a stitch marker.
