Pig in Blanket
Crochet pattern for a cute little amigurumi Pigs in Blankets! Ideal makes for Christmas (or for someone who really loves pigs!)
Each pig stands about 3in (10cm) tall, has a cute little curly tail and 2 back legs. The head, body, legs and tail are all made in 1 piece. Snout and ears are added separately. The blanket is a granny square style where you can use up to 3 colours of yarn. If you want to hang it on your tree, add a little hanger!

Difficulty level - beginner/intermediate.
This pattern is written in US crochet terms.
Requirements:
30g of DK/Light Worsted weight #3 yarn in pink,
Small amount of dark pink yarn,
Black yarn or embroidery thread for eyes/nostrils (or you can use safety eyes instead),
Scraps of 3 colours of DK/Light Worsted weight #3 yarn (preferably sparkly!!) for the blanket,
Toy stuffing,
Size 3mm or 3.5mm hook (yarn thickness and tension dependent),
Darning needle,
Stitch marker.
