These pig pudgy pals are the first in my new line of pudgy pals. If you want a quick project to add a little cuteness to your lives, you’re in the right place! Options are provided to make your pigs with either open or closed eyes. With these detailed instructions, even those with little crochet experience can find success creating their own masterpieces!
CROCHET PIG PUDGY PALS PATTERN DETAILS:
-The pudgy pals measure 5″ tall & 4″ wide.
-Skills: chain, single crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch, SC decrease, HDC Dec, working in front & back loops only & basic sewing
-Written in US Terms
-Skill Level: Easy
-PDF format available for instant download
-5 pages long
THINGS YOU WILL NEED:
-Hooks: You will need a 4 mm (G) hook.
-Yarn: You are welcome to use any brand of yarn but if you’d like your piggies to turn out the same size as mine, please be sure to check your gauge first! For a tip on how to save time when checking your gauge, check out my blog post entitled “Becoming a Master Gauge Checker: It’s a stinky job, but somebody’s gotta do it…”
- I used I Love This Yarn. You will need less than 100 yards of main color and small amounts of contrast color.
- Caron Simply Soft- You will need scraps of white (open eye option only) and black.
-Polyester fiberfill & tapestry needle with large eye
-If you want to weight down your pig pudgy pals a bit, you can add polypropylene beans.
