High Neck Saddle Cardigan is worked top-down with saddle shoulder construction. Stitches are cast on from the neck, and the shoulders are shaped by increasing on both sides of the saddles. After increasing for the sleeves, the sleeves are separated, and the body and sleeves are knitted separately. Pick up stitches in a double layer to hide the seam, then work the collar. Finish the buttonband with double knitting. The saddle shaping lies flat and gives the cardigan a structured, ready-to-wear fit. Choose your size by comparing the finished chest measurement to a cardigan you wear often. The sample (Monet Yellow, size M) is worn with 25cm of positive ease on a model with an 80cm chest.
