This pattern is perfect for beginners! It is easy, quick, and simple yet produces an adorable little Pikachu that your Pokémon-loving giftee will treasure. You can attach a keychain onto the Pokémonor leave it as be. It hardly requires any yarn, can be crocheted up in less then 30 minutes (depending on your level of expertise---I strongly recommend taking your time if you are a beginner), and helps you get practice in for crocheting-in-the-round.

Materials:
• 3.5mm (E-4) crochet hook
• Worsted Weight Medium (4) Yarn in Yellow and Black – I used Caron One Pound in Sun Yellow, although the amount of yarn is not required. Scrap yarn in the correct color will do.
• Stitch Markers (optional, but strongly recommended to help keep track of rows)
• 10mm washers (eyes) in black – I purchased mine on Amazon for a reasonable price, but you can also use black felt cut up in circles and attach it with fabric glue instead.
• Polyester Fiber Fill – You only need a small amount. If you don’t have any available, scrap yarn will work was equally well.
• Red felt
• Fabric glue
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Keyrings
