ABOUT : A drapey dolman sleeve light weight cropped sweater with options for length modification. The sweater has a boatneck neckline and large drapey 3/4 length sleeves. The sweater is embellished with corrugated ribbing on the hem and cuffs as well as Kihnu Vits knitted braids which also runs from sleeve to sleeve. The cuffs and hem with braids and corrugated rib are worked with a larger needle to maintain a matching gauge with the Stockinette for a boxy fit and drapey look.
The sweater is knit from the bottom (hem) up working in the round to the underarm. The front and back are then separated and worked flat with casting on stitches for sleeves using a crochet provisional cast-on. The provisional cast-on for underside of each sleeve is then removed and stitches placed on needles when working the front and front side of the sleeves. The front and back including the top of the sleeves are joined together with a Three-Needle Bind-off. Stitches for cuffs are then picked up and worked in the round.

NOTE: Un maglione corto, realizzato con un filato leggero, con maniche a pipistrello, con la possibilità di modifiche alla lunghezza. Il maglione ha uno scollo a barca e maniche a tre quarti ampie e drappeggiate. È abbellito con costa a due colori alle estremità, oltre a una treccia Kihnu Vits da una manica all’altra. I polsini e il bordo inferiori sono lavorati con una misura di ferro maggiore per mantenere una tensione costante con la maglia rasata, così da ottenere un effetto drappeggiato e boxy.
Il maglione è lavorato dal basso verso l’alto, in tondo, fino al sotto manica.
Poi il davanti e il dietro sono separati e lavorati in piano, aggiungendo i punti delle maniche usando un avvio provvisorio all’uncinetto. L’avvio provvisorio per la parte inferiore di ciascuna manica è quindi rimosso, e i punti trasferiti sui ferri per lavorare la parte davanti della manica. Il davanti e il dietro, comprese le maniche, sono unite con una chiusura delle maglie con tre ferri. I punti dei polsini sono ripresi e lavorati in tondo.
