Pile
Pile is the Danish word for arrows or chevrons. Pile is an asymmetric triangular shaped shawl.
Pile is knitted in one piece from side to side. The shawl can be knit in one color, two colors or many colors. The shawl is worked in stripes of textures.
The shawl pictured is size small which can be used as a large scarf, the directions includes directions for three different sizes of the shawl.
This pattern includes directions for a small (medium, large) shawl with (measures are taken after blocking):
Width: 200 (250, 300) centimeters
Height: 80 (100, 120) centimeters
The pattern is written for a knitter who is able to work a simple textured pattern, I-cord bind off and follow written instructions as well as follow a chart.
This pattern calls for a yarn with a 23 stitch count per 10 centimeters gauge (after blocking!) i.e. a yardage of approximately 175 meters per 50 grams.
Materials: yarn, circular knitting needle and a double pointed knitting needle for the edge.
I have a loyalty program where you can choose a free pattern after purchasing my patterns for at minimum of § 25.0.
The pattern does not include finished items yarn etc. The pattern only includes instruction for knitting the shawl.
