To fit palm circumference: 11.5, (13, 14.5, 16), 17.5 cm. 

Approx. ages: 1–2, (2–5, 5–8, 8–12), 12+ years.
Finished circumference: 8, (9, 10, 11), 12 cm.
Length: 8, (10, 12, 15), 18 cm.

GAUGE

39 stitches & 38 rounds = 10 cm, worked in the round in 3x1 ribbing, unstretched, after blocking.

YARN

Plied, soft wool yarn with good elasticity, approx. 320–350m/100g, for example Rosy Green Wool Cheeky Merino Joy (320m/100g) 
or Filcolana Pernilla (175m/50g), 
approx. 40, (55, 70, 90), 110 metres.

SUGGESTED NEEDLES

2.5 mm (US1.5) circular needles 80–100 cm for Magic Loop, or a set of double pointed needles – or a needle size that gives you the correct gauge.

NOTIONS

Stitch markers, stitch holder or scrap yarn, tapestry needle.


CONSTRUCTION
Pilea junior mitts are worked in the round, seamlessly from the bottom up, in 3x1 ribbing. The thumb gusset is worked in stockinette stitch and finished with 1x1 ribbing. Both mittens are worked in the same way.
