Is it an egg or maybe it is a flower? This “lovey” pattern has a pillow in the center that is approximately 6 inches wide, and several inches thick (depends on how much you stuff it). Would be nice for the little ones to cuddle, add it as an accent on your little girls bed, or even add it to your own living room décor. This pattern has so many possibilities. Change around the colors. Eggs for your kitchen or flowers for your couch. Add a cute face for extra fun!

The finished pillow lovey is approximately 25 inches on its widest and about 19 inches on its slimmest. This pattern is easily adjusted to make it larger. Make it as large as you wish by adding more rows.

I always suggest using a smaller hook for anything that needs stuffing. For this pattern I suggest a 3.5 mm for the “yolk”, you can then choose to use a larger hook for the “whites”. This pattern requires quite a bit of yarn, depending on how big you decide to make yours. I used almost 1/2 a skein of Pound of Love from Lion Brand for the “whites”, and 1/2 a skein of Caron United for the “yolk”.
