This hat came as a result of leaving my WIP at home and needing something to knit at the hotel. The only yarn and needles I had was for a hat. Instead of going with a plain rib, I mixed it up with a cabled band with Icord edges. The band is worked to the desired length, then stitches are picked up along the Icord. The body of the hat is worked long, making it super slouchy, and is finished with swirl decreases.

Pattern is worked to size, as such no gauge, needle size, yarn weight, or finished dimensions are given.

Yarn
A 100g (3.5 oz) skein in the desired weight. Blue hat was made using a dk/worsted weight handspun yarn.

Needles
Use a needle size that will get you a nice drapey fabric, 1-2 sizes larger than recommended on yarn label.

Directions are included for three different widths for the cabled band, no other sizing is included.
