Pilot sweater
The Pilot sweater is a soft airy cocoon knitted in silk mohair. It is a cropped model that combines perfectly with high waist trousers, skirt or dress. The brioche stitch has a intriguing stripe texture that’s highlighted in this design by using two colours.
The pattern is available in English and in Dutch at this time.

Construction notes
The Pilot pattern is an oversized drop shoulder pattern worked from the top down and mostly in the round. You can make the length cropped as instructed or add extra length. Please keep in mind that if you decide to add extra length you will need more yarn than specified.
The pattern of the yoke and body is an airy brioche stitch. The yoke is worked in back and forth in Two-colour Brioche before you join for working the lower body and hem in the round. The body is worked in Two colour Brioche pattern for working in the round. The sleeves are also worked in the Two-colour Brioche stitch for knitting in the round with a slight balloon effect right before the cuff. The hem, cuffs and neckband are worked in Garter stitch in main colour in the round.
