Pimpernel Shawlette
by Belinda Hope
When you feel your knitting skills have surpassed plain knitted scarves, it’s time to treat yourself to a delicately classic shawlette scarf, with a wavy lace edge and stocking stitch body.
This is a really good introduction to lace knitting, because the ‘complicated’ area is quite small. It is knitted widthways, so you can just keep on knitting until the yarn runs out!
Length: as long as desired, or as length of yarn dictates. You may find one ball is long enough.
Example measures 195cm long and used 100g sock yarn.
From ‘Blendy Knits Again’ by Belinda Too. NZ$35 (approx US$28). Free worldwide shipping!
