The Pimprenelle shawl

Snuggle down in a warm woolen triangle.
The Pimprenelle shawl is a triangular shawl worked top down with an icord CO, the icord continues throughout the shawl. 
It can be worked in a choice of 3 or 5 colors. You can also imagine it using a different color for each change indicated on the pattern. The instructions will guide you through the changes to be made.
The instructions will guide you through the changes to be made. It features smooth stockinette sections along with texture stich alternating with ribbing sections. The end ribbing is shaped with German Short Rows.

Gauge
20 sts x 30 rows = 10 cm / 4 inches of Stockinette

• 4,5 mm/US 7 circular needles with a cable of at least 80 cm/ 32’’.

Pimprenelle est un châle triangulaire qui se tricote du haut vers le bas. 
Il se tricote, au choix, à 3 ou 5 couleurs. Vous pouvez également l’imaginer en utilisant une couleur différente à chaque changement indiqué sur le patron.
Les instructions vous guideront dans les modifications à apporter.
Les bordures en icord sont tricotées en même temps que le reste du châle.

Ce patron comprend un décompte détaillé des mailles. En annexe un tableau récapitulatif pourra accompagner celles et ceux qui souhaitent être plus guidés.

Fil 
Nécessite des fils de type light fingering à sport.

Le modèle de présentation a été tricoté avec des fils 
100 % Mérinos single, 366 m /100g.

Échantillon 
20 mailles par 30 rangs en jersey pour un carré tricoté de 10 cm par 10 cm après blocage.

L’échantillon est donné à titre indicatif.
Le châle est grand, vous pouvez donc aisément, vous permettre d’opter pour un échantillon plus serré, plus le tissus sera « dense » et plus le point texturé sera visible.
Un échantillon plus serré vous permettra également de diminuer légèrement la quantité de fil nécessaire.

Matériel 
•Aiguille circulaire en 4,5 mm.
