This test knitted garment is a combination of feathers and lace for the summer. It has the effect of a double stole without the need to wrap it around and hold it. It has a nice feminine flow like an Indian veil. It can be used for many occasions: when you leave the beach and want to look dressed in a nearby restaurant or when you want to dress up in the evening. And if you insist you can STILL wrap it around the shoulders!
I considered many suggestions in this pattern that I received in the Dreambird Kal. As again one has to deal with feathers or leaves and therefore with a lot of change of direction I added diagrams as orientation help. Apart from that the pattern is written as a detailed row by row description with many step photos. The pattern is not very wordy, many photos and diagrams are responsible for the high number of pages. To all haters of safety pins and stitch markers out there: none of these are needed for this pattern!

Diese testgestrickte Doppelstola ist eine Kombination aus Federn und Lace für den Sommer, es sollte Tuchcharakter haben, aber ich wollte nicht, daß man es umbinden und festhalten muß, sondern es sollte fließen und fallen. Je nach Geschmack ist es der ideale Überwurf, wenn man vom Strand direkt ins Restaurant gehen will und angezogen aussehen will oder auch eine elegante, extravagante Abendbekleidung. Und wenn man umbedingt will, kann man es sich DOCH um die Schultern legen!
In diese Anleitung sind viele Anregungen eingegangen, die ich im Dreambird Kal bekommen habe. Da auch hier Federn oder Blätter mit vielen Richtungswechseln gestrickt werden, helfen Diagramme, die Orientierung nicht zu verlieren. Ansonsten ist das Muster in Form einer detaillierten Reihenbeschreibung mit vielen Fortschrittsfotos geschrieben, der verbale Teil wurde so knapp wie möglich gehalten. Die hohe Seitenzahl ergibt sich durch viele Fotos. An alle Sicherheitsnadelhasser: Man braucht weder Sicherheitsnadeln noch Maschenmarkierer!
