This jazzy dickie design is embellished with colourful bobbles, fringing and tassels. THIS COWL or ‘dickie’ begins by working in the round, increasing to create the cowl shape. A section is then worked flat using German short rows. The final edge section is worked in the round and cast off using the Icelandic method. The main body of the cowl has a slip stitch pattern, and bobbled chevrons are worked on the centre front. Final embellishments are provided by embroidery, fringing and tassels.
