This project is a great little beginners project as it works up quickly and uses basic stitches such as double crochet and slip stitch. The instructions I have included are for a jar that is 9cm across, however if you have a small or larger jar you can adjust the size by using thinner or thicker yarn, or a bigger or smaller hook.

This pattern works by crochet the 2 halves (african flower granny squares), crocheting the halves together and then stuffing it. Easy as pie!
