Pine Creek Crop
Pine Creek Crop features a striking lace yoke, knit from the top down in fingering weight yarn. Short sleeves and twisted rib details finish off this sweet summer top.
The cropped length is perfect for layering over swingy summer dresses. If cropped sweaters aren’t your style, fear not! By adding a few more inches to the body, this top could be worn as a lightweight knit tee all on its own.
Construction
Pine Creek Crop is knit seamlessly from the top down. The yoke is cast on and short rows are worked to raise the back of the neck for a comfortable fit. The yoke lace is knit, then the body and sleeves are separated and worked from the top down. The only finishing is to pick up the stitches at the neck and work the neckline.
Techniques Used In This Pattern
Long tail cast on, German short rows, basic lace patterning, picking up stitches
