The Pine Croft Fingerless Mitts make a set when worn with the Pine Croft Toque. Both are designed for the learning knitter interested in stranded knitting in the round following a chart. The medium-weight yarn makes this a quick weekend project. Above all, this design is great for using up stash yarn!

This pattern is named after my grandparents’ summer home, Pine Croft - an old settler farmhouse built in the 1880’s on a point overlooking a beautiful lake in Muskoka (Canada). My grandfather planted many white pines there, which have grown into tall, majestic trees that still stand today.
