Pine Dreams Heirloom Christmas Stocking
This stocking will be a family favorite for generations. It’s generous size and combination of knitting and very simple embroidery will add style to your holiday celebrations. This a great pattern to learn stranded knitting or duplicate stitching. Many resources for learning new techniques or brushing up on ones you don’t use often.
Pattern Details
Techniques: Stranding/two color knitting, toe up sock construction, short row heel, very basic embroidery. There is an option to use duplicate stitch to place the pine branches. Duplicate stitch directions included. Opt. Basic sewing skills for lining.
Can be knit with double points, 2 circulars, magic loop. You will need an extra 16” size 3 circular for cuff. I used two circulars for toe cast on then switched to 1-16” circular for body of stocking.
