The Pine Needle Sweater, was my very first independent design. When I finished it for Christmas, 2023, I felt it was too late to put it into testing, so I decided to start the testing process in July 2024!

Of course, you don’t need to make this sweater with the Horizon Christmas edition yarn, regular Horizon comes in so many colour ways!
I feel the Granny spike stitch, works with this yarn extremely well! So I highly recommend it!

For the ribbing, I recommend taking a colour, from the colourway you’re using, and find a similar match with Kind Feather, Megaball, or even Amigo XL

If you don’t have access to Hobbii Horizon, any other DK weight Acrylic yarn would work :)

The sizing is broken up into 2 stages. You first decide your neckband size, and then you move on to the sweater size. You can also customise the length of the body, and you have 2 options for the sleeves as well.

The granny spike stitch can be fun to do once you get into the flow, and look at the wonderful results it gives!
