Pine River Beanie

A week ago we moved to a country-ish home on 6 acres, where we eventually plan to raise angora rabbits, sheep and alpacas. Our house is tucked behind a bunch of pine trees and walking distance from the White Pine River, hence the name for this hat. The meandering stitch pattern makes me think of a winding river and also the bits of lace remind me of sunlight peeking through our pine tree branches.
