Pine Tree Afghan
This afghan combines the techniques of mosaic knitting and shadow knitting. Both are easy, but combined they make a striking afghan that will surely bring comments from everyone who sees it. This would make a lovely holiday throw, but it will work all year round, too. A different shade of the Mandala Ombre Yarn would create a totally different tone for this afghan, combined with a different shade of the Mellowspun would create a completely different mood. Just be sure to combine dark and light to create enough contrast between the two.
This would also make a wonderful baby blanket if you used Lion Baby Mandala, and a coordinating shade of dark yarn.
