Pineapple Blossom
Errata noted by user: Between Rounds 24 and 25, you need to work a round entirely of shells if you want the pattern to look like the pictures in the booklet. If you don’t it still comes out fine, it just doesn’t look like the cover photo.
The pattern specifies: Bedspread Weight Cotton Thread (size 10): 350 yards
Steel crochet hook, size 8 (1.50 mm) or size needed for gauge
Gauge: Rounds 1-4 = 3”
The doily is worked in 25 rounds. A pattern note advises that the doily may ruffle slightly as you crochet, but that it will smooth out with blocking. The pattern begins on page 8 in the book; the Pineapple Blossom doily is the one featured on the front cover of the book.
