This is the first in a series of pineapple washcloths (or dishcloths) that is made with a variety of textures created by simple knits, purls and slipped stitches.

The pineapple consists of a symmetrical body of the fruit and an asymmetrical crown of the pineapple in a field of stockinette. The finished washcloth is reversible, with the textured pineapple appearing on both sides.
