Pineapples & Hearts Hat
Everyone loves pineapples, pinwheels and hearts! And this decorative hat has all three. A dainty pinwheel sets center stage for the crown and gives way to classic pineapples that are trimmed with petite hearts between for the brim. Matches our doily!
Materials:
• 1 ball (200 yds) Curio size 10 (tea rose)
• Steel crochet hook size 8 (1.50 mm)
Molding Materials:
• Commercial or homemade fabric Stiffener
• 1 (5” dia) Styrofoam ball, cut in half
• Styrofoam or cardboard base
• Plastic wrap
• Rust proof pins
Finishing Materials:
• Tapestry needle
• Glue gun/glue
• 1 ½-yds flat beaded lace (5/8” W)
• 1 lg satin rose
• 2 med silk flora
• 2 sm silk flora w/ leaves
Finished Size: 12 ½” dia
Gauge: 2 rows = ½” T
