Pineaux the easier of the two patterns for February. Also it is less frilly and suitable for gifting to your guy for Valentines day.

In brown it looks like a pine cone’s scales and in green like dragon scales. Séverine Pineaux is an amazing French fantasy illustrator. Her overlapping leaves create fairy ballgowns and horses.

The pattern works well with stripes, variegated, and tonal yarns. Every other round is a plain knit round which helps the sock progress quickly.
