Meet the pinecone pocket!
This adorable pinecone is knitted using four different varieties of bobbles to create the perfect pinecone texture. Instead of seaming up the top, an inner lining layer is created so you can store treasures inside of your pinecone! Add a closure and string to the top and you have yourself a lovely winter ornament.
These sweet pinecones can used as home decor, cat toys, alter adornments, holiday gifts -- you name it!

The Pinecone Pocket is shown in both fingering weight and DK weight yarn, but really any yarn weight will work, depending on how large of a pinecone you want!
Gauge is not important for this pattern. However, it is necessary that you use a needle that is one size smaller than the typical yarn weight needle suggestion.
