These socks feature a beautiful combination of various ribbed sections and eyelet chevrons. Its clean graphic interplay of straight ribbed lines and diagonal eyelets transitions seamlessly between the sections.

They are inspired by my previous design, the Pinecone Wrap that can be found here: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/pinecone-wrap

The socks are worked cuff-down in the round using the magic-loop method.

The pattern provides both written and charted instructions so you can choose which you prefer to work from.

SIZE
One size, 64 sts.
20 cm / 8“ finished leg circumference, to fit with slight negative ease.
Leg and foot length are adjustable.

YARN
Designed for fingering weight sock yarn.
Yarn used for sample: Pascuali Forest (fingering weight, 70% Merino Superfine Superwash, 15% Viscose, 15% Cotton, 100 g = 425 m / 465 yds), 1 skein in colourway 112 Cypress.

GAUGE & NEEDLES
Gauge:
30 sts x 44 rounds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4“ in stockinette stitch,
32 sts x 44 rounds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4“ in rib stitch pattern after washing and gentle blocking.
Needles:
2.25 mm / US 1 needles for knitting in the round with magic-loop method (circular needles at least 80 cm / 32“ long), or size to obtain gauge.
