Pinecone Trail Cowl
Continue the Pinecone Trail journey with this matching cabled cowl. Rhythmic knitting & twisty cables create a delightfully squishy fabric that keeps your neck warm while warding off the winter chill.
- Skills Used:
-Knitting in the round, small cables, twisted stitches.
-Instructions provided in both chart and written form.
- Materials:
-400 yds/ 365.8 m DK weight yarn. Solid or semisolid colors recommended. Sample used 2 skeins of Yarnaceous Bronto DK (246 yds/ 225m, 85% Merino 15% Nylon) in “Triceratops Eggs”.
-Size 6 (US)/ 4.0mm 24”/ 60cm circular needles, or size needed to meet gauge. Read gauge notes.
-Cable needle, stitch markers, and tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
- Gauge:
-27 stitches/ 29 row to 4”/ 10 cm
I am a tighter knitter. I highly recommend checking your gauge against mine to ensure a good fit.
- One Size:
-Adult: 28”/ 71cm circumference, 11.5”/ 21cm height.
