I wanted to make a shawl that would remind me of my favorite National Park, Yosemite, as well as the mountains and pines of my home state. I love the desert vistas of my current home in New Mexico, but sometimes I miss the tall pines. This shawl and its sister Mountain Meadow are borne of that yearning.

Pattern note:
The sample was made with exactly two skeins of Flaxen Silk DK, however there would not be enough left over for a swatch or any variation in gauge. We recommend a minimum of 500 meters (or roughly 547 yds) for this reason
