A vintage baby sacque featuring vertical lacy bands and picot edging. The retro design is gathered at the neck by a drawstring with pompoms at each end, but the neckline could be modified (e.g.: by casting on fewer stitches at the neckline, garter stitching for a few rows, and increasing on the next row to the required pattern stitch count at the neckline) for contemporary babies so as to eliminate the crocheted drawstring.
The one-size sacque is loose fitting and designed for baby girls to wear from 6 months up to 1 year.
