This headband can be used as a gauge swatch for my Pink Diamonds sweater or as an accessory in its own right.

The headband is worked from front to back, fitting tighter at the front to avoid wind in your ears and looser at the back to accommodate hair. Knitting is done only in stockinette; the purl edges are worked by turning the project.

You need two colors of yarn and yardage is 50/50 of each.
100 m total = 50 m of each color
110 yards = 55 yds of each

You need two circular needles, 40 cm/16 inches.

If you wish to alter the size it can easily be done by changing the number of repeats. One repeat is 10 sts, which corresponds to 5.5 cm / 2.2 inches.
